I took our regular soyaki salmon bowls and made them into BROTHY SOYAKI SALMON BOWLS 🍣🍜🥬 with one extra quick step - this broth is delicious! and a good way to add nutrients and warmth to these cold days! 2 salmon filets (I get Atlantic, 4oz-ish each) 2 heads bok choy, halved 3c low sodium beef or chicken broth 1c white jasmine rice 1c + 1/4c TJs soyaki sauce 1tbsp fish sauce* 1tbsp rice wine vinegar* 1tbsp olive oil 1tsp minced garlic 1tsp oyster sauce* 1/2tsp sesame oil* For serving: fresh sliced green onions, sesame seeds Cut your salmon into cubes and place into a bowl with 1c soyaki sauce. Coat well and let marinate for minimum of 30 minutes. Once finished marinating, you’ll air fry at 400f for 11 minutes. While your salmon is marinating/cooking, add 1c jasmine rice and 2c low sodium chicken broth to a small pot. Cook according to package instructions. In a large pan, add olive oil and garlic. Sauce until fragrant. Add your bok choy and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until it has a slight char. Remove. In the same pan, add broth, remaining soyaki sauce (1/4c), fish sauce, rice wine vinegar, oyster sauce and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer. Once everything is finished, add rice, salmon, and bok choy to a deep plate bowl. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion, then pour broth over bowl. Serve hot and enjoy! *you can do without the fish sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce and sesame oil if you don’t have it - no need to buy all that for this recipe. Just add some salt to your broth if you skip these! #homemadefood #broth #salmonrecipes #homecookedmeal #highproteinrecipes
